This is one of those RV setup items we consider a must-have, especially when connecting to campground water.

When we first started RVing, we learned pretty quickly that campground water pressure can vary a lot from one place to the next. Some sites have low pressure, but others can have pressure that is higher than what you really want running through your RV plumbing.

The last thing you want is to hook up at a campsite and risk putting too much pressure on your RV water lines, fixtures, or connections. A water pressure regulator gives you one more layer of protection before that water ever reaches the RV.

We like the adjustable style because it gives you more control than a basic preset regulator. This one has a gauge, connects inline with standard hose threads, and lets you monitor and adjust the pressure before it goes into the RV.
